While each game might calculate that value differently, a well-balanced CCG may have a consistent system where strong effects are counteracted by higher costs. Being able to silence an opponent's card of your respective choosing was certainly an effective effect requiring a superior cost, so we chosen to Buy OSRS Gold dial it back—and this is where Gnome Child took a weird turn.
I suggested that rather then letting the gamer choose which card effect to replace having a Gnome Child quote, it must be left to chance. That would significantly reduce the required cost of the greeting card, but I wasn't delighted by making Gnome Child simply cost gold either. Too boring. Instead, I wanted something which would really draw on his bizarre nature and potentially confuse both players. That's when I pitched the thought of making his effect a double-edged sword, replacing a card effect using a stupid quote not only in your attacker's hand, but your own personal as well.
This is the reason why Gnome Child quite interesting, as RuneScape Gold card effects could be both negative or positive depending on the charge card. For example, KGP Agent is usually a common support card which increases your base attack by one but additionally makes you discard a card. If I were to try out Gnome Child, I could potentially erase that negative effect, allowing me to experience KGP Agent safely. Likewise, I could accidentally remove an adverse effect from my opponent's hand too. Either way, there were finally find card which have potential to become both irritating and bemusing. We had our concept.
